CBD business is booming, and there are countless companies on the market today that claim to have “the best” CBD you can find. The thing is, not all CBD is created equal. At all. Without federal regulations set in place for cannabidiol, basically anyone can make CBD oil, say it’s the best, and market it to the masses.
Functional Remedies is different. When they say they make the best CBD oil, they mean it. Not only is Functional Remedy CBD made with superior genetics, but is run by a visionary team of botanists, scientists, and herbalists working together on a mission “help others, never settle, stay curious, and grow things.”
These are the guiding beliefs that have led Functional Remedies to truly create some of the highest-quality CBD you can find.
From Humble Beginnings to High-Quality CBD
As the Board President of the Colorado Hemp Association and the CBD Advisor for the National Hemp Association, Functional Remedies President Tim Gordon knows a thing or two about cannabis. He started growing cannabis in rural cornfields in the 90s, the beginning of what would become a lifelong career advocating for this plant he was so passionate about.
Gordon would eventually move from cornfield cannabis grows to one of the most prominent voices in legalization and medical marijuana. After becoming a medical patient in Colorado in the early 2000s, he went on to learn how to grow some of the best cannabis in the country. The plants he originally grew in rural cornfields in the 90s, Gordon says, are the origin of what is now grown to make Functional Remedies CBD products.
Because the cannabis Gordon was growing was that good, more and more medical patients requested he be their caregiver and grow their plants for them. By 2005, he was growing for large scale medical operations and began to educate the public about medical marijuana.
Gordon opened one of the first medical dispensaries in the country, with a mission to educate and empower the people about the effectiveness and therapeutic value of the plant. In 2010, Gordon sold his dispensary to further engage in the study and research of cannabis.
“My studies led to understanding, and my understanding led to action,” says Gordon. “I was helping people by enhancing their endocannabinoid system - a complete system essential to our well-being that simultaneously relies on the cannabis plant’s complete system and its own well-being. This unique bond between man and cannabis became ever more prevalent.”
What Makes Functional Remedies Superior to Other CBD Companies?
We started Sunshine Hemp Co. because of our passion for CBD. Our mission is to provide only the highest-quality CBD products, which is exactly why we offer products from Functional Remedies. With Tim Gordon’s dedication, experience, and expertise working with hemp to produce superior genetics that contain a higher CBD content than anywhere else available, he has been able to create a product that surpasses most available on the market today.
Not only are Functional Remedies products made with superior genetics but are produced using the whole plant rather than simply a CBD “isolate.” Functional Remedies produces full-spectrum, CBD-rich, whole plant products containing several other beneficial cannabinoids and various nutrient compounds that offer far superior therapeutic benefits than most CBD products available.
Functional Remedies also practices what is known as “vertical integration.” This means that from seed to farm to harvest to processing to the final product in your hand, every part of the process is meticulously managed by their own operation. They also pride themselves on using organic practices throughout each step.
It’s not often a company can stand behind their claims of being “the best.” Functional Remedies is different, however. The team behind this Colorado company are leaders in their field, sustainably growing superior hemp to truly produce the best CBD products available anywhere period.
